Big day for sure...

Years gone by

I wonder when I turned from monkey to bear.

Always Too Soon

In bed, with the writing machine
weighing words, I look around
the softly lit walls and 'things'
I see.

Six more weeks, and
this time I leave
for the fourth time
but forever.

My body burrows
deeper into the bed
and I reach out for the walls
that have seen so much

And I go back to writing
that, which (I hope)
will take me away.
